Making the litmus jacket without the lining

With the changing seasons we don't always want a lining in our jackets but we still want a beautifully tailored finish.
One way to do this is to add bias binding to your seams this allows you to add personalisation to the jacket but is an approach that is simple and very effective. We recently made a lovely green cotton drill jacket with a dark brown bias and it looks great - we've dropped in a picture to show you.
When adding bias binding you can get some fantastic ready made ones off the shelf but its also a great way to use up your scraps by making your own - there really is so much opportunity for fun and bespoking the jacket to be very special.
We have created a video for you showing you how to attach the bias binding so that you can go and create some magical seams.
We look forward to seeing your creations!
